ThIs College Football Hall of Famer punted for the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders (1973-86) and is often considered the greatest football punter of all time; he was also the first punter elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, inducted in 2014. Bold signature in red fineline on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p. dated by him 8 October 1974 at upper right. Near fine. With original transmittal envelope. Wonderfully early example signed at age 25 and unlike the stylized all capital letters version he later adopted. .
